Dr Maureen Ngesa is a Behavioural Scientist and Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of experience in mental health interventions, behavioural science, trauma-informed research, human-centered intervention design, and strategic communication.
She has led the design and execution of mental health and behavior change research, as well as behavioral analysis and strategic communications for donor-funded programs.
Maureen holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, and a B.A. in Communication. She brings expertise in research strategy and management, evidence-based program design, stakeholder communication and engagement, and translating behavioral insights into actionable interventions.
Beyond her professional work, she loves to dance and is passionate about discovering and reviewing literature from emerging African authors and highlighting their work through her book reviews.
