Wendy Mbonne

Wendy has a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Statistics with Computing from Karatina University. She has advanced skills in data collection, entry, cleaning, analysis, interpretation and presentation using analytical software such as R, SAS, SPSS and STATA. Previously, she has worked at Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) as an Applied Statistics Intern. Wendy is also drawn to community service with a special interest in children, youth and the environment. As a volunteer in community service learning, she has nurtured children and young people in slum areas. At Shamiri, she uses her skills to help generate accurate results and reports from our evidenced-based data analysis, which assists in making informed decisions about Shamiri's interventions to uplift youths and help them maximize their potential in life. During her free time, she enjoys jogging, listening to music, dancing, singing and creating poetic pieces.
